The World is waiting for us...

Peace brings an image of a tranquil world: no war, no riots, no fears, no tears. 

The dove, an olive branch or the popular ‘V’ sign, what do they all remind you of?  

शांति, Paz, Pace, Lahna, Paix, Der Frieden, Heiwa, Aman Malay, Damai, Peace!

Do you need still need a bigger incentive? Think of the most beautiful place you have ever seen; think about the person you treasure the most, magnificent isn’t it? Now think about nuclear war which could destroy both in seconds. The world need’s peace and peace needs us.

How many of us would like to create a world full of joy, friendship and love? We need to take our first step now! So many of us are passionate about music, dance, literature, drama- they all bind us beyond borders. They contain wisdom and bring out compassion across all cultures, religions and beliefs.  Spread the message of peace via a performing art you are passionate about on this International Day Of Peace; this will be our first step.

Peace in any form is absolute bliss, if we create a peaceful and trouble-free world we shall be known as the generation that made Utopia a reality. I would love that, I’m sure all of you would too! So let’s start today, the world is waiting for us!
