What is peace? The world seems to have deranged definitions
of one simple word. Everybody idly
supports the idea of a ‘global village’;
organizations have tried, failed and sustained the overall idea of ‘peace’.
But, do we really work hard enough to maintain peace, tranquility and prosperity
around the world? Is it something we all live by? Or is it something that is
just ‘supposed to be there’?
Honestly, clear your mind and look around you. Before
considering the entire world per se, shouldn’t all of us be looking at our
lives? Do we have peace there?
It’s an easy word to throw around and take for granted (just
like everything else) but if it isn’t implemented at ground level, how can we
expect the entire world to be ‘tranquil’?
Before we claim to have reached the stars of world peace, we should gather all the stardust on the way and work on maintaining peace in ourselves and in relationships with the people around us.

Maybe then we can consider the world being peaceful.

peace is not a phenomenon, its something we create! even those with the dark shroud of hatred within them have the little spark of hope in the deepest corners of their soul and even the smallest spark is enough to start a wild fire ! so lets look for that spark of hope within us and lets light that fire !!!
ReplyDeleteGreat article!
ReplyDeleteWell, people everywhere have the same problems and struggles. In my view, we will have global peace once we recognize the common aspects of the conflicts we see around us.
