A Perfect World

Scared of the darkness

Scared of the world

The light is shining here

In other parts it won’t

What do I do here all alone?...

Unloved, Uncared left alone.

All I ever wanted, was someone to love

All I ever needed, was someone to care for

All I ever wanted, was some amount of peace

All I ever got, was none of these.

Are we seeking a world?

Where there is no sorrow

A happier tomorrow

Is there somewhere to be?

No sadness, no tears

No regret, no fears

I have a dream for me

A life black or white?

No insults, no cries

A clear blue sky

No dullness, no cries

But all I see...is this world in front of me

Constitution, Dissolution

Evolution, devolution

Execution, prosecution

Terrorism, Homicide

Communalism, suicide

Politicians on a ride

Stories of how people died

Cold war, World war

Robberies and shady cops

Ignores, Implores

I can’t take it anymore...

May be there’s a ray of hope in this life

Someday, someplace everything will be right

Coz the sun still shines and the world still rhymes

No, I don’t wish for a perfect world...

All I want is some peace and love
